Growing lilies

June 19, 2007 by Tricia

DSC02028

Don’t you just love the way lilies look when they are growing? I think they have sort of a pineapple look to them.

I grow several types of lilies. Tiger lilies, oriental lilies, hybrid lilies … you name it, I must have a couple hundred!

I took this photo about three weeks ago. Most of the lilies are now three to four feet tall and covered in flower buds. I’m sure they’ll bloom before the week is over.

I’ve got a craving

June 18, 2007 by Tricia

Do you ever get a craving for a particular food that just won’t go away?

I started to get a craving for something really tasty on Friday. I didn’t really know what I was craving. I kept picturing tasty chicken and zesty salad ingredients, but I was thinking that I wanted it more in the form of a wrap.

I did end up getting one of the new wrap sandwiches from Kentucky Fried Chicken that night but quickly discovered that that wasn’t really what I’d been craving.

Now I’m starting to think that what I really want is a taco or a burito. Something juicy, zesty and filling. Of course I just saw a Taco Bell commercial so perhaps that’s why I think my several days long craving is really centered on taco’s now.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Perhaps some other food that I haven’t thought of yet that fits the bill?

Greek Shirts for Sororities and Fraternities

June 15, 2007 by Tricia

Want to visit a cool site and get a shirt for your sorority or fraternity? Perhaps your child, relative or friend is in sorority?

greekt-shirts.com carries a great line of greek shirts. You can choose from shirts with printed logos and designs, sewn on sorority or fraternity letters, or embroidered letters.

Visit the site today and check out their selection of T-Shirt styles too.

You can submit your own design or go through the site and find a design that’s perfect for the sorority or fraternity that you have in mind. Once you’ve chosen your design just follow the step by step instructions in order to pick out the design of the shirt, style, sizes and quantity.

I’ve found that the minimum order is 20 shirts. Creating that many shirts would be a great gift for your sorority or fraternity members.

It’s not worth it!

Wordless Wednesday

carrottop cat

Poor kitty! I feel the same way when I see Carrot Top on TV too.

Hope I’m not offending any of his fans but I just don’t think he’s all that funny. Do you?

That gun looks a bit too big for kitty to manage. Whoever photoshopped this photo should have made it a bit smaller I think.

I hope everyone’s having a great Wednesday!
