Oh Geez! I’m such a klutz!
I just put the laptop computer down on the table in front of me and I was attempting to go to the kitchen to get a drink and take some of my medication.
I didn’t get that far!
I got my leg caught in the cord for my optical mouse! I stumbled and went flying into the lazy boy chair several feet away. Head first!
I’m so glad that Chris is in bed and didn’t see that. I’d never live it down!
I think I might be in need of high risk life insurance. I mean, I’m going to be on a boat cruise on Saturday night. A boat! With my luck I’ll fall overboard!

Wordless Wednesday
I met my husband when he was in college and he lived in student housing. I’d say he and his roommate were the biggest partiers in the house. I’ve heard of a lot of pranks that they pulled on their fellow house mates. None quite like this one, but you know, if he’d ever told me that he did this to someone I’d believe him!
I wonder how many rolls of duct tape were used when that guy was attached to the door?

Don’t you find it strange how people love to dress their dogs and cats and sometimes even other pets in clothing? As if they’re trying to make their pet more human? I mean, does a dog really need a rain coat? Really?
I can see the little booties that people buy for their dogs feet. I live in a cold climate and our city used to put salt pellets on the roadways in the winter to melt the snow and ice. Now they use something artificial and more environmentally friendly, but still, those pellets can cut up a dogs paws. So yeah, I can understand the doggie booties, but that’s about it.
Then, when we want to dress up and have some fun we often rent or buy animal costumes. Isn’t that funny. We make our pets look human yet we want to look like animals.
Isn’t that strange?

Did you watch America’s Got Talent? If you did don’t tell me who won because I recorded the shows on my PRV and haven’t watched the most recent episode yet.
It’s funny that I like this show. I really hate shows like American Idol and Canadian Idol (yes I get two doses of the idol shows!), Dancing with Stars and so on. Hate them with a passion, but for some reason I like America’s Got Talent.
I guess it’s because the show has so much variety. There’s magic acts, ventriloquism, acrobatics or physical acts, singers and musicians – plus many of them are funny. Humor always gets bonus points with me.
There’s a singer/ guitar player that I’ve been hoping will win. His name is Cass Haily. When he performs he reminds me of Chris when he plays. My husband is a musician and his vocal range is similar to Cass’ and he enjoys playing as much as it appears that Cass does. I hope he wins or that he’s already won.
Don’t tell me if you know!
