A few days ago I posted about having fun with dressing up our puppy. Well I didn’t really dress her up … I just put the bandanna that we’d been given by the Petsmart groomers on her in a different way.

I didn’t post photos the other day when I mentioned what I’d been up to with our little Lab. The photos were still on the camera, but I finally got around to uploading them onto the computer so now you can see how silly our dog looked.
We have a lot of elderly neighbors – mostly Macedonian and Greek and they tend to wear head scarves when they are out and about. Midnight really looked like one of my neighbors that day. We’d just put ointment in her eyes – she might have an eye infection (she’s been treated with medicated ointment several times since we got her) or maybe allergies – and the ointment made her eyes look a bit watery in the photos.
So what do you think? Does she look like a pitiful little dog with the scarf around her head or what?
Well I missed Wordless Wednesday when my migraine took me out of commission in the middle of the week so I won’t called this a WW post, but it is time for a photo.
Look at all those satellite dishes! I have no idea where this photo was taken, but they obviously don’t have cable there!
Have you ever seen so many satellite dishes in one place? Any clue as to where this might be?
I only wish that I had a big enough property that I could create a cool landscaping design! Maybe not quite like the zipper pond that I’ve included above, but something interesting and unusual would be really interesting don’t you think?
We did landscape our yard when we first created our garden. We put in build up raised garden beds pretty much all around the perimeter of the garden. We used easy lock stones. We also created an oval that is attached to the garden beds on one side and it juts out to one side and acts as a partition between the patio and the back area of the garden. It helps to create a garden room.

Now that we’re taking our puppy to the park on a regular basis it probably won’t be too long before we’ll see something like this ourselves. Midnight’s already got some doggy friends that we run into in the park and each time she goes we meet new dog owners and new dogs.
On Sunday we brought her to the park with a frisbee. She had a ton of fun playing with it. Unfortunately she mainly wanted to chase it and catch it and then chew on it rather than bring it back to us.
The frisbee attracted other dogs and it wasn’t long before another lab, a 13 month old, got a hold of her frisbee. It was cold out and the frisbee was made of a hard plastic that must have become brittle as it eventually cracked.
We took the frisbee away at that point as I was pretty sure that one of the dogs would end up with a cut mouth or something!
I guess we’ll have to get a softer rubber frisbee to play with next time.
It was fun bringing a toy to the park though. That was the first time we brought anything for Midnight to play with and it went over well.
