I made sure I’m insured

Oh speaking of Vegas … I’m glad I took out medical insurance. I’ve been so sick with my crohns in the past week that I seriously thought about canceling my trip. I actually should have since I ended up having a bowel obstruction. Believe me, I don’t want to end up in a hospital in the States but if I do I did take out insurance.

I think my husband wishes we got a new term life insurance quote! He’s terrified of flying and I’m sure he thinks that something bad will happen either on the way there or the way back! Me I’m more worried that something will happen while we’re there such as me getting sicker! I’m also the worlds biggest clutz too so you just never know what will happen with me around.

Keep some good thoughts going that our flight and short stay in Vegas go well?

Wow! In 12 hours I’ll be on a plane and headed to Las Vegas! I’m excited, thrilled and nervous all at the same time. I’m also more than a little bit exhausted after spending the majority of the day preparing for the trip!

I’ll be posting from Vegas if everything goes well. By that I mean that I really do have an internet connection in my hotel room! There’d better be! I mean, I’m bringing my laptop and it would be a real shame to bring it all that way and not be able to use it much wouldn’t it?

So keep an eye on this site and my other blogs (see blogroll for list) as I hope to do little updates on several of them depending upon what I’ve got to talk about – celebrities, night life, meeting other bloggers or the blogging convention in general.

I’m going to try to get all my holiday shopping done online

This year I think that I might try to do most of my holiday shopping online. I really don’t like shopping in crowded malls in November and December. Do you?

One of the sites that I hope to use when shopping is CouponChief. They have deals and coupon codes listed for thousands of online stores. If I’m able to find stores that ship to my area (Canada) I’ll barely have to walk into a department store.

There are a number of Linens and things coupon codes, as well Pottery Barn deals and I know I can get some fantastic gifts for my relatives at those stores.
