My sister in law came for a visit this past weekend. She came to Toronto on the train on Friday and then went on to Oakville to visit with an old school friend on Sunday.
We had a very busy two days! Dinners out, shopping at the Eaton’s center, lots of catching up … I was tired out by the end of the weekend.
One night we went to a local restaurant for dinner and caught some live music. My husband was working that evening otherwise I’m sure he would have joined us. It’s too bad he wasn’t with us as I’m sure he would have been drooling over the guitars the band was playing. In fact, I think he really would have wanted to take a good look at the lakland 55-02 that the bass player was using. My husband is a guitar player, but he toys with the bass and I know he would have liked that instrument. Anyway .. the band was really good and so was the food.
The next day we had a lot of fun shopping. I needed a new winter hat so we had fun in the Bay with me trying on all kinds of hats. Of course I didn’t find a hat that I liked … but it was fun trying them all on. I gave my sister in law quite a few laughs.
