I got a call earlier today from one of my friends. She’s getting married in July and she wants me to do her make up for the wedding. I used to be a make up artist – never professionally but I do have my make up artist certificate and I’ve done the make up for several of my friends and sister in laws weddings so I guess I do I pretty good job if I keep getting asked. It probably doesn’t hurt that I don’t charge too much either.
Anyway …. my friend now wants all kinds of skin care tips. Everything from the best blackhead removal lotions to what kind of moisturizer she should use each night. So … I think I’m going to write up so basic skin care do’s and don’ts for her so that she can get working on things.
Have you ever been asked to do something for a wedding that’s a little out of the ordinary .. I mean rather than being a bridesmaid etc … ?
My mother is getting married at the beginning of next month and wants me to do her make up. The make up I don’t have a problem with ( I am a make up artist as well) however, she wants hair extensions!! I have no idea how to do those, plus I don’t think at 60 having rapunzel-ish hair is cool?? You know!?
