I’m so tired this week. Yesterday and earlier today I almost fell asleep in the afternoon. I mean, just nodding off. I haven’t been this tired during the day or even all day long in ages!
Actually I think there might be something wrong with my thyroid. Well .. I know there’s something wrong with my thyroid, I only have half of mine left, but I think what’s left isn’t working right anymore. I have tumors in my remaining thyroid and I take thyroid hormone to keep them from growing, but I think I’m going hypothyroid.
I can’t tolerate being cold. When I go outside lately – even when it’s above zero – I feel like my hands are frozen or like they’re thawing out. Even if I was only outside for a few minutes.
so I have cold intolerance, tiredness, oh and remember I said that I lost weight in September … well I seem to have gained half of it back. Grrrr. Maybe I should be reading some fat burner reviews instead of worrying about my thyroid. LOL
Since it’s getting colder outside and I literally can’t stand the cold I’m going to ask my doctor to test my thyroid levels the next time I see her. I have an appointment in two weeks so that’s not too long to wait. If I continue to be extremely tired though I’ll see if I can get into see her earlier.

Wow, talk about a small world, my sister has a thyroid problem and she keeps water dragons. She’s the only person I know in both of those categories. She suffers miserably when she runs out of her thyroid medicine (and anyone around her suffers, too). I used to have a really slow metabolism so I know what it’s like to be cold all the time. I wonder if fat burners or metabolism boosters would work for that? I know they certainly keep me warm and toasty and full of energy, although my thyroid is normal. I just used to eat very little all day long – now I know better. You have to eat, eat, eat!
