Wow, I never realized how hard it was to find a decent pair of glasses! I’ve always worn a combination of eye glasses and contacts … but two years ago I suddenly couldn’t wear my contacts anymore because as soon as I put a contact on my eye my eye would start to burn, tear and swell. I think it was some kind of allergic reaction.
So I’ve only been wearing glasses for the last two years … but I think my eye sight has changed again so I decided that it’s time to get my eyes tested and then get one or two new pairs of glasses.
I have an appointment with an optometrist next week but in the mean time I thought it might be good to go out and see if I can find some eye glass frames that I like.
That was harder than I thought!
I thought maybe Walmart or Costco might be cheaper so my husband and I went to both of those stores earlier today to look at the selection and I couldn’t find any frames that suited my face.
What’s with all the really narrow rectangular or oblong lenses? I don’t like big glasses or lenses, but almost all the styles I saw today were way too small .. and I have a small faces. Who wants lenses sticking out from the side of your face.
I think my hunt for a new pair of glasses at a reasonable price is going to take a while. Anyone know of any good places in the Toronto area that has a wide selection of frames and sells eye glasses at a reasonable price?
Anyway … while I was looking for a style of glass frame that suited my face my husband wandered around the stores that we were in … in the last store I had to go searching for him .. he was looking at an epson receipt printer of all things … never even knew those existed! LOL Oh well, it kept him busy for a while.
