Thinking of buying property in Panama?

May 25, 2008 by Tricia

Live in Panama? Looking to buy or sell property? Be sure to visit Encuentra24. Encuentra24 is the largest Real Estate listing service in Panama.

The website is very easy to use if you happen to be searching for a property to buy or rent. Actually if already own Real Estate in Panama and want to sell or rent it out you can create your own real estate listing quite easily. Listings are seen by as much as 800,000 people interested in buying or renting real estate.

Property listings include photos of the site, video and mapping. You can search for or list apartments, condos, houses or commercial properties.

As I browsed through the site I noticed that while Real Estate might be the main draw of Encuentra24 I was pleased to see that one could also buy or sell items on the site, buy or sell a vehicle, find a school, a job, view or list items in auctions, or find a service trade to work on your property. It’s a true multi-service site.

Last, but not least there’s also a article that lists a number of Real Estate Tips. You can find out where the best places to purchase real estate in Panama are, how to pay annual property taxes and many other helpful tidbits of information.

So if you’re thinking of moving to Panama or if you already live there and need to buy or sell property head on over to Encuentra24.

That’s one tired dog!

May 25, 2008 by Tricia

Our Lab puppy Midnight got a lot of exercise today. Chris took her out to the park not just once, but three times! He also took her for at least three walks.

She’s pooped!

Midnight is so tired that she actually put herself to bed. She went into her crate at about 11 pm and she’s been lying in her doggy bed ever since. She almost never goes to bed until my husband heads for bed … then I usually take her outside to do her business, give her a cookie and then off to her crate she goes.

To go to bed without her cookie? That’s almost unheard of!

Open Doors Toronto

May 24, 2008 by Tricia

I just realized that this weekend is “Open Doors Toronto” weekend. Geez … already missed a day too.

Yesterday, while Chris and I were watching the news we saw a story about Open Doors Toronto. Open Doors is when many of the historic buildings in Toronto or places of interest open their doors free of charge so that people can tour the buildings or sites. You get to see places that are almost never open to the public. It’s quite interesting.

There’s a very old house on Queen Street with a historic Toronto Garden. The last time we participated in Open Doors Toronto it was in the little travel guide they put in the newspaper and we went to see the house and garden. They’ve maintained the garden as it was when the original owners of the home first created the garden. There’s old roses there that I’ve never seen anywhere else.

Well it’s supposed to be very nice tomorrow, so along with getting some of my own gardening done, we’ll probably try to see some of the sites that are participating in this years Open Doors Toronto.

If you’re in the Toronto area have you been to Open Doors before?

It’s a cold and miserable day here in Toronto. I wish I could just relax like this cat seems to be doing!

Foiled by the weather

May 19, 2008 by Tricia

It rained yesterday and into the evening. Our plans ended up being foiled … yes … ruined.

Do you remember that I mentioned we were supposed to get together with friends on Sunday evening for some fireworks to celebrate our Victoria day weekend? Uh huh …. well that didn’t work out.

I’m a trooper though. I really thought we’d still go out even though it was lightly drizzling. I got dressed up to go out for dinner with our friends – designer jewelry and all, and then, when our dinner was finished and we were about to go to the fireworks it started to pour outside!

Fireworks get canceled when it rains so hard that the rain drops are bouncing off the pavement.

Oh well … we still have a chance to go to see fireworks this evening. We might watch them from the beach if it’s nice enough out.
