At some point in the near future Chris and I will probably get a new bed for our guest room. The bed that’s currently in there was the one that we used in our apartment before we got our house. It’s a double bed. When we bought our house we finally had a bedroom big enough for a queen sized bed so the old bed was saved for the guest room.

A good mattress makes all the difference. I had a Select Comfort for a while with adjustable firmness. It was really nice until it suddenly sprung a leak, which led to me getting almost no sleep the night before a long shift at work. Ugh. Memory foam feels great, but I haven’t had much chance to sleep on it. I’ll definitely consider it for my next mattress – no more air beds!
I think memory foam mattresses as are absolutely brilliant. I sleep in so much comfort since I have had mine.

I usually sleep on a futon because I like the fact that it feels like I’m sleeping on a giant pillow. I’ve considered getting a memory foam sytle mattress, but they catch me as too squishy. I like feeling like I’m sleeping on a pillow, not a sponge.
