My garden will soon be bursting with blooms like this lovely Blue Gentian. I was just saying on my other blog that many of my plants are developing buds, but few are flowering right now.
Much like my puppy when she sees us eating or when she’s anticipating a treat I think I’m beginning to drool in anticipation of that sudden burst of blooms.
There’s nothing like the first spring blooms. Especially with roses. The flowers are usually larger than they are throughout the rest of the season and their colors are at their most vibrant.
I can’t wait.
Do you have a garden full of buds too or has yours exploded in bloom?
Gardeners, Plant and Nature lovers can join in every Sunday, visit As the Garden Grows for more information. GTS participants remember to check in at As the Garden Grows each week so that we’ll know you made a new post!

I guess anybody who is passionate about flowers is looking forward to this time of the year. I’m in Africa and it’s a bit different over here, though sometimes it gets very hot. Wishing you a great season ahead, with plenty of colorful flowers.

Gorgeous. I wish I had more time/energy/space to garden more; I’ve only got a few seeds and bulbs out now.
