Once I get over this flu bug I’m going to start working on getting in good shape again. I’ve been so sick thanks to my Crohn’s for the last several months and I’ve gotten out of shape.
Chris and I eat fairly healthy so I think the main thing I need to do is start getting more active. The nicer weather of spring should help with that goal as I’ll be able to take longer walks with our puppy. If I can only get her to stop dawdling and smelling everything we pass I should be able to raise my metabolism with those long walks!
We have an elliptical machine upstairs too. I’m afraid it’s been gathering dust over the winter, but it too will fit into my plan. Perhaps I’ll even get some more fitness equipment. I’m not exactly sure what else I might need or want to get, but once I start working out again I’ll have an idea. certainly a pedometer would be useful so I can measure how far I walk each day.
Have you resolved to get fit too now that Spring is here?

Its not spring here in New Zealand but I like to exercise all year round! Having exercise equipment in my house doesnt motivate me enough. I feel when I make the effort to go to the gym I am more motivated to exercise and less distracted!
Besides, gym equipment is too expensive!
Do you like exercising at home or would you rather go to the gym?

well, what can i say… youre all set… you seem very committed to you ‘plan’ to get healthy and get back to shape… good luck… it is also a big deal that you are sharing this with us, quite motivating isnt it? with all the eyes watching you.. mind you we are WATCHING! good luck! stay healthy!
