Do you ever find that when you’re watching TV late at night there’s more commercials for diet products, weight loss companies, Insurance for older adults and even burial policy insurance? There’s also a lot more commercials that are similar to infomercials yet almost as short as a normal commercial.
You have to wonder why you only see these commercials late at night or in the early morning hours don’t you? I’m sure commercial time is cheaper during those hours, but you have to wonder about some of the companies that advertise during those time periods too.
One time, when I’d first moved into my apartment many many years ago I was up late and I got caught up watching one of those late night commercials. I ended up ordering a set of pots and pans. I needed them as I’d just moved to my first apartment … but oh what a disappointment! The pots were made of aluminum or some other very light, very thin metal and they were brutal to use! LOL
Have you bought anything after watching a TV commercial and then regretted the purchase?

Some television stations have undertaken to air such programming as an alternative to the former practice of signing-off. That is one of the reason it was shown off peak hours (usually 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.)

Have you ever seen the thing that is supposed to sweep your floors by rolling around by itself without any help from you? I can’t remember what it is called. But my, what a disappointment!! It got stuck on everything, didn’t even pick up the dog hair. Oh well, you live and learn ๐
