Replaced our Computer monitor with an LCD!

February 22, 2008 by Tricia

You know what? We bought a new monitor for the desktop computer in early January during all the new years sales and I’m certain that I never even mentioned it on any of my blogs. Duh!

You’d think I would have told you about the new HDTV and VGA lcd monitor by now huh? Actually I haven’t even tried it as a television yet either. It works great as a monitor for the computer. I guess I’d better try it out and see it makes a decent HDTV too eh?

Eventually we’re going to get a second laptop and we might give up on having a desktop computer all together. That’s why it was important that we get an LCD monitor that could also be used as a television. It will fit perfectly in one of our guest bedrooms. There’s a small TV set up there on a TV stand already, but that TV is very old and has a fuzzy picture so the LCD monitor would make a perfect replacement if we ever decide to stop using it as a computer monitor.

Did any of you take advantage of all the boxing day or New Years sales that were happening? Get any good deals?

Thats a sexy monitor, personally though I took advantage of the sales to get my second 20″ widescreen monitor. Having two monitors side by side looks awesome and allows me to get so much more work done.

I hope you had more luck with your LCD monitor than I have done. Already had 3 of them replaced. Must be something to do with my electric supply or I’m just not good with LCD monitors.

Now the best way is to get LCD monitor but with touch screen! I sow this in my friend’s laptop. It’s much easier to work on this, really very cool gadget.

It may be not so good for TV but for laptop or PC is perfect. You can find those touch screens on eBay, they are cheap.
