Living in a cool climate I suppose it’s not all that surprising that many of my fellow Canadians tend to either winter in or retire to warm climates such as Florida. I’m not old enough to retire, but I know in the cold dark days of winter I sometimes think about how nice it would be to live in an area that doesn’t have snow and ice.

One could visit Greater Fort Lauderdale, the Blue Wave Beaches, Hollywood Beach, several great golf courses, Butterfly World, Thoroughbred racing at Gulfstream Park and many other lovely areas and parks to visit. It sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?
