I grow this clematis at the front of the house. The name of the particular species of clematis isn’t coming to mind easily but I do have it written down. Somewhere.
Do you keep track of the names of the plants that are in your garden? I have so many plants that it’s getting harder to keep track, but I still try.

What a nice way to welcome visitors! The color is lovely. As for plant names–I’m one of those types that obsesses over plant names. I know most all of the botanical names of the plants in my garden, and if I don’t have the species or cultivar name, I research it until I find out. It’s a sickness!

It is a lovely clematis.
I, unlike Alyana, am a dunce about plant names. I really do try to keep the little tags with the names but they always end up in the abysis somewhere. I started a garden journal and it has one entry in it:(

Beautiful clematis. Mine has finished for the year and is getting quite brown due to the lack of rain in our area. I do record the names of various plants, but it isn’t always right at my fingertips.

I have given up trying to remember every thing, it usually not as problem apart from when you sow veggie seeds into trays think you will remember what is what, but then forget. I now have rows of veggies that I’m not sure what they are…
