Computer problem update!

Our computer part was delivered within about four days! Yeah!


We installed the power supply and uhm … our A drive didn’t want to work- we’d get an error message on start up and got that message to go into the bios and fix the problem or push F2? to continue.

After contacting the power supply seller about the problem and discovering that he had no idea how to fix it we simply disabled to A drive. We never use the 3.5 discs anymore anyway.

So now I have my desktop computer back, and as a result my husband has more time on the laptop.





My computer broke down

My desktop computer broke down! The power supply starting making this weird whirring noise.

It’s a 2003 HP media center and the power supply in it is specific to HP and they don’t seem to carry that power supply in their parts store anymore. Arghh.

We did find the same model on eBay so we took a chance and purchased it. Now we have to wait for it to be delivered and hope that it works.

In the meantime we’re stuck with just the laptop to share. I have several blogs so I’m on the computer the most, but my husband has two to work on as well. I hope it doesn’t take too long for that power supply to show up.

Some shows not in rerun now

Well it looks like they are finally starting to play some shows on TV that aren’t reruns!


Yeah. Like I said in another post this year it seems that most of the TV shows are running new episodes for a few weeks and then going into a month of reruns. Last year was like that too but not as bad as this year.

I can’t wait for Heroes to return. I really enjoy that show. I wonder what will happen next?

Cold April

We had a better than average winter. It was actually fairly warm most of the winter, but this spring is cool. I can’t say that it’s rained all that much, but this first week of April has been very cold and kind of dark and gloomy looking.

When is the nice weather going to start? It’s spring isn’t it?

April Fools!

So it’s April fools day today. I’m sick. Stuck at home. I thought about playing a joke on one of my busier blogs, but I didn’t end up doing it. I do have some good ideas though … there’s no rules about playing a late April Fools joke is there.

So, did anyone get you with a good April Fools joke?
