Trying to lose a few pounds before the end of the month

Ahhh! My nieces wedding is coming up soon! It’s on the 30th of December – just 24 days from now!

I’m not ready!

I’ve been working out every day over the last week and a half, but it hasn’t helped much yet. I want to lose about 10 lb before the wedding. I need to lose weight fast so that I’ll look great by the time her wedding day arrives.

My meals are low calorie (low fat, low sugar) and I’ve been taking long walks with the dog each day. In addition to this I’ve been using Wii fit Plus, Gold’s Cardio workout and AE Sports Active on my Wii for at least an hour a day. All of which get my heart rate up and get me sweating.

I’m pretty sure that if I keep this up I’ll lose the 10 lb that I want to lose, but so far I really haven’t seen much in the way of results … well if you don’t count sore muscles! The work outs are definitely doing something to my body because my arms, ribs and thighs hurt!

What do you do when you need to lose 5 to 10 lb in a month?

    Here is something you can try with your regular workouts, drink hot water over cold one, plus say no to deep fried stuffs, no to sugar added carbonated drinks, no to junk foods. You will start to see great results.

    As for your other suggestions, my husband and I have a very healthy diet – fresh salads with low calorie dressing (or just balsamic vinegar), steamed vegetables and boneless skinless chicken breasts are our most often consumed dinners (high fibre cereals and other healthy low fat foods make up the bulk of the rest of our diet). I was drinking one can of Coke a day but I’ve stopped that. We never eat fried foods, especially deep fried, and I don’t add sugar to my drinks or eat junk food.

    I agree with chakru, the solution provide by chakru are perfect as we can try to reduce weight by basic remedies. but whenever we go to lose weight it has to be done under observation like for workout the trainer should be there to guide us, so that over exercise should not hurt our body muscles, alos diet should be taken under dietitian observation so that we should not go under diet and harm our health.
