I don't think I'd heard of that acne cure. A man I used to work for once told me to use urine. I know how strange (and disgusting) it sounds but he said it worked for him. The idea is to apply it to the affected area before you shower let it sit for a few minutes then get in the shower and clean off. I never tried it so I can't vouch for it's legitimacy but he swore it worked for him and he wasn't really the type to lie about something like that.
