I think that fixing it might be a cheaper solution then buying a new one. Off course this depends on the problem your home theater has. I know the feeling when something that you are using regularly is broken and you have to wait until it is fixed or replaced, so I hope you will be able to watch movies really soon on your new(or fixed) home theater system. I can't imagine what "overload" would mean! We just got a new stereo - granted, it was refurb, but I was kind of hoping the remote control would work.
