I've considered getting a memory foam sytle mattress, but they catch me as too squishy. I like feeling like I'm sleeping on a pillow, not a sponge. I can honestly say this mattress was the single greatest improvement I have made in my life in years. I now sleep much better, and no longer deals with nagging allergy symptoms day in and day out. I sleep in so much comfort since I have had mine. I also suffer from an allergy to dust mites and I no longer wake up sneezing since getting my new memory foam mattress. I would recommend anyone who was having back pain or allergy issues with a regular mattress to try a memory foam mattress. I think memory foam mattresses as are absolutely brilliant. I had a Select Comfort for a while with adjustable firmness. It was really nice until it suddenly sprung a leak, which led to me getting almost no sleep the night before a long shift at work. Ugh. Memory foam feels great, but I haven't had much chance to sleep on it. I'll definitely consider it for my next mattress - no more air beds! A good mattress makes all the difference.
