I always enjoy taking my dogs to our local dog park. They seem to love it as well. A rubber frisbee would probably be better or a ball is always a good choice.

My last dog was a Pomeranian - she didn't really like to play very much! She liked chew toys but nothing that was "interactive". Come to think of it, she wasn't very friendly to the other dogs in the park anyway, so maybe it was a good thing we didn't have a Frisbee for her!

Sometimes we bring along a ball or something like that but usually my dog will chase sticks if you throw them. He doesn't bring them back usually, just gets the stick, drops it and waits for you to throw something else :)
