A feast for the dogs
Wordless Wednesday What’s the old saying about a dogs breakfast? Well this sure isn’t breakfast. Looks more like a dinner feast for the dogs doesn’t it? I think that if I set a fully cooked turkey down on the table in front of my Lab puppy it wouldn’t be sitting so patiently in the chair! She’d be right up on the table with her face deep in the turkey and I’m sure she’d think it was pure heaven! My mother in law actually lost a turkey she’d just cooked, except she lost hers to a cat! The cat jumped up on the counter where the turkey was cooling and while no one was in the room it proceeded to eat about half the turkey! I can’t remember if it was Thanks Giving or Christmas when it happened, but needless to say we ended up having a much different main course than was planned.
