This year I only had a few. Earlier in the year I was fostering some Beagle puppies for a local animal rescue group and they ended up chewing up most of my rose bushes. Most of them survived, but no roses this year. Thankfully, they are pretty tough and should be okay by next year. If they can survive the desert heat, some pruning shouldn't faze them to much.
